Le week-end de folie - The crazy week-end

Le week-end a été plutôt très chargé. Nous avons accueilli le Saskatchewan Paint Horse Club pour le challenge. Samedi c'était grande promenade pour tout le monde, 25-30 chevaux dans la vallée, un moment inoubliable...

We had a pretty busy week-end. The Saskatchewan Paint Horse Club was here for the challenge. Saturday, we did a big trail ride with everybody, 25-30 horses in the valley, a moment you cannot forget...

 ...surtout quand Louise-pas-de-chance s'est fait taper dans la jambe, par un autre cheval (oui encore...). Robert & Bran, les deux cowboys-gentlemens, m'ont aidé à la ramener sur son poney, et on a filé à l'hôpital. Elle allait tellement mal qu'elle s'est pris d'un fou rire parce-que je sais pas conduire les fauteuils roulants ! Au final rien de cassé, mais un vilain hématome au tibia !

...especially when Unlucky-Louise was kicked in the leg buy another horse (yes, again...) Robert & Bran, the two gentlemens-cowboys, helped me to bring her back on her pony, and we race to the hospital. She was so bad, that she starts laughing very loud because I don't know how to drive a wheelchair ! At the end, nothing was broken, just a bad looking hematoma !

 Et elle avait même encore le coeur à chanter autour du feu de camp samedi soir !
And she still had the heart to sing at the camp fire saturday night !

Par contre elle a dû annuler sa participation au TREC du lendemain... Du coup c'était juste Rose et moi. Et même si on a fini dernières (essayez d'avoir l'air détendue avec un cheval qui se cabre toutes les cinq minutes^^) on était quand-même fières d'avoir fini le parcours sans trop de problèmes !
But she had to cancel her entry to the trail challenge the day after...It was just Rose and me. And even if we finished the lasts (try to seem relaxed with a horse who rears every five minutes^^) We were proud to finish the course without to much trouble !
